DLG certificate

Based on the contract farming agreed upon with Okermühle, our agriculturalists are obligated to be audited and certified by DLG on a regular basis.

Important criteria concerning food safety, sustainability, storage areas, hygiene, disposal as well as pest control and fertilisation are inspected in the course of the audits of the agricultural operations (e.g. plot file, temperature records, etc.).

If the audit has been passed, the contractual partners receive a DLG certificate which confirms the quality of the supplier externally as well as to the Okermühle. A point score achieved in the audit is motivation for continuous improvement in view of food safety and sustainability.
